our research shows - 66 327 used slanted top and 66 Early 427 (early before Jan 66)
and  66 427 late (After Dec 65) + 67 all used flat /square top)
(According to the assembly manual there was a change listed at the bottom of the page on 11/01/65
- this pertains to the 66 427 early models - which it shows a change to the 66-67 427 model (square top)
