Rear Corvette 63-67 splash shield showing -correct zinc dichromate - gold - coloring -
this one has faded to a silvery color but you can still see
a hint of the gold and the gold is more prominent around the bolt holes.

the original blueprint shows " in codes " the finish = zinc dichromate = gold color, not Silver
